Project members Matt Baker and Chris Riley will travel to Kathmandu in March 2016 in order to visit Jana Sudhar Lower Secondary School. The trip has been planned to conincide with the arrival in Kathmandu of our Nepalese friend and project member Upendra Shrestha. It is hoped that the recently reported reduction of the fuel blockade on the Nepalese/ Indian border will result in fuel prices stabilising allowing the long-planned construction of new toilet facilities for staff and pupils at the school to commence. Upendra, who will spend three months in Kathmandu, has kindly offered to oversee and coordinate the construction work.
