In 2011 we, a group of colleagues at a commercial secondary school in Rosenheim, founded the organization „Projekt Nepal e.V.“. The background was a trip to Nepal by Chris Riley, one of our members, who made the first contacts to schools in Nepal.
The idea of a forming a school partnership developed in which the pupils in Nepal would be supported through events organized here by us under the motto „Learning to Help, Helping to Learn!“ In time there have been additions to our team, for example, Matt Baker from London and Upendra Shrestha from Kathmandu.
